The section is the recognized inter-council organizational structure of the Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America, and shall consist of councils within a geographical area. The section exists to provide a direct inter-council forum for lodge and chapter leaders, bringing them together for fellowship and mutual improvement through the exchange of ideas.
